An absolutely gorgeous diamond engagement ring from the late Art Deco (ca1930s) era! Crafted in platinum, this stunning piece holds a sparkling old European cut diamond at the center of a simple three-stone mounting. The center diamond is prong set in a boxed setting and has an estimated weight of 1.35ct, and exhibits I/J color and SI1 clarity. A pair of full cut diamonds adorn the shoulders of the beautifully detailed mounting, collectively weighing 0.40ctw and displaying I color and VS2 clarity in similar boxed settings. A smooth band, which tapers towards the back, completes the design and is stamped with "IRID. PLAT." and a leaf hallmark. A classically beautiful Art Deco era design, it would make a perfect engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 8.25 but it could easily be re-sized down or up if desired.
Condition:?The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum?setting, and all of the diamonds are intact.
